-January 7, 2011, History announces that its first scripted miniseries, The Kennedys, will not air on the network, with a spokesperson stating, "This dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand." The content of the 8-part multi-million dollar project (produced in Canada in partnership with History's Canadian counterpart, History Television) had been the source of controversy; various sources claimed inaccuracies in the script, while the miniseries' director and production company countered that History officials gave approval on the final draft script and final cuts before dropping their broadcast plans. The producers would then begin shopping the production around to other networks, and on February 1 reached a deal with ReelzChannel, which will air the miniseries in April 2011 (this after Showtime, Starz, FX, and The 101 Network took a pass)

January 11, 2011, V S2 Ep2: Serpent's Tooth

In the dark bowels of the mothership, Anna confronts her mother Diana—who's been down there for the past 15 years and presumed dead—about understanding human emotion and the soul. Diana discovers through Anna that Earth is the last viable planet where the Visitors can continue their species.

Erica has Tyler's blood analyzed as she believes the Visitors may have added Phosphorus into her blood stream during her pregnancy.

January 18, 2011, V S2 Ep3: Laid Bare

After Erica discovers Malik is a Visitor sleeper agent, she fights for her life and tries to take her down. Jack and Hobbes arrive at the scene, taking Mailk with them to gain information. When Anna learns that Malik is missing, she orders Ryan to find her.

Anna asks Chad to interview Jack and uses it against him when she sends a V to his church to provoke a fight, which is caught on video with the help of Tyler, making Jack look violent. Malik refuses to give answers to the Fifth Column until she gets skinned after giving Erica information regarding a young runaway girl whose life is in danger by the V's.

Lisa realizes her body is beginning to change, causing her to become more like her mother, even murdering one of Anna's test subjects who is a human. The Fifth Column rescues the girl Malik talked about and reunites her with her mother. Anna visits Diana as she continues to look for a soul in humans, they both argue about the past and the future. Anna reveals to Tyler that she considers him like a son to her. When Chad finds out he was used by Anna, Jack introduces him to meet the Fifth Column members. After Malik dies, Ryan is reunited with his baby girl and tells Anna he knows the location of the Fifth Column.

February 1, 2011, V S2 Ep4: UnHoly Alliance

Erica and her boss Paul discover that three more Peace Ambassadors have been killed. At first, Erica fears that Tyler may be among the dead, but she is soon relieved to find that he is still alive and well. While at work, Erica meets her new FBI partner Chris Bolling , with whm she went through training. Ryan gives very little information to Anna about the Fifth Column, so she insists that he get closer to Eli Cohn, the leader of a radical faction of Fifth Column. Erica, Hobbes and Ryan find Eli's hideout. Despite their differences, they all plan to frame the murder of Agent Malik on loyal members of Cohn's by putting her remains in the hideout where, during a raid by Erica and other FBI agents, two unknown men are arrested.

After meeting with a prominent bishop in Vatican City, Anna forces the college of cardinals to officially join with the Vs and to condemn any of the priests speaking out against the Vs.

Anna discovers that one of the bishop's closest advisers is a former sleeper agent who had worked for Diana.

Anna forces him to return to the mother ship under the guise of his volunteering to be the first missionary to the Vs. She tries to find out what he has learned about human emotion and the human soul, but he refuses to recognize Anna as his queen and insists that he will only share his knowledge with Diana. Anna brings him to her mother, who then kills him before Anna can take him away again and informs her daughter that human emotion is actually a blessing rather than a curse. After the death of the priest, Anna finally feels that she has enough evidence to use emotions and the soul against humans. Back on the ground, Tyler and his friends vandalize Jack's church to get revenge for the suicide bombings.

Paul and Chris discover surveillance footage of Erica and Jack conversing and start to focus in on the two of them, whom they now consider to be suspicious. Jack realizes that Tyler vandalized the church and tells Erica about it. Ryan returns to the V ship and gives Anna the severed head of Agent Malik. Ryan pleads with Anna to provide his daughter with bliss, but Anna refuses and orders him to get closer to Eli Cohn so that she can finally bring down the Fifth Column.

February 8, 2011, V S2 Ep5: Concordia

Anna has her latest gift for humanity, "Concordia". Chad Decker is the first to view this concept as presented by Anna in the form of a holographic presentation. Anna claims that this project will form more jobs worldwide, along with healing centers and technological training services.

Meanwhile, Erica presents Tyler with his birthday cake, as it is his 18th birthday. Tyler is more concerned about why his father hasn't called yet. Erica calls Joe, her ex-husband, and says that they need to talk about Tyler. Meanwhile, Anna is gloating over the impact that Concordia will truly have on humanity.

Erica sees that the V's have a significant influence over Tyler, and in an effort to counteract this, she and Joe come up with a plan with a gift of Joe's motorcycle, a cross-country trip and being reunited together again. Anna responds by offering Tyler the gift of engineering and flight training school.

Ryan approaches Eli Cohn and asks him for his help in an effort to bring down Anna. When this idea is proposed to the rest of the Fifth Column group, Erica, along with Father Jack, initially refuses to do so. Then, she changes her mind, changing the plan so that collateral damage can be minimized. The plan is put in motion, and everything is going well, until Ryan makes a call to Marcus, warning him of the assassination attempt. Marcus informs Anna of this, and he takes the stage in her place. Erica rushes onto the stage and embraces Tyler, which allows for a clean shot at Marcus.

Hobbes and Cohn are furious that their plan was foiled by Ryan. Tyler eventually decides to choose his family's gift instead of the Visitor's. Erica's FBI partner realizes that something strange is going on with Erica, when which he and Paul Kendrick decide to launch an investigation into her. Ryan, when dealing with Anna, is told to infiltrate the Fifth Column further. He complies, acknowledging her as "My Queen."
