The Olympics: Tropic Thunder Bolt

Too round up the "17" days of the "888" Olympic games this year in short, we had 2 stars emerge from the void. Michael Phelps aka the Golden Boy (Prometheus) who went 8 for 8" in his search for Olympic Gold this year.

And Usain Bolt who is now know as the fastest man in the world after he flew in the Bird's Nest breaking 3 world records. Bolt also syncs up with the upcoming movie entitled Bolt starring John Travolta and Miley Cyrus, and during the Olympics we seen the release of Tropic Thunder which sports a Lightening Bolt.

During Tropic Thunder when Ben Stiller aka Tugg Speedman, Robert Downey Jr. aka Kirk Lazarus and Jack Black aka Jeff Portnoy and others go about shotting there movie in the live environment, suddenly there director from London was blown to pieces when he accidentally steps on a old Vietnam land mine.

And keeping in theme with decapitated heads (Darkest Joke, and Decapitated heads) Ben picks up the director head and plays with it until he has the idea thats he's David Beckham.

Hey Look I'm David Beckham!

Kicking the Decapitated head/Soccer ball towards 2012.

And in the final Ceremony for the Beijing Olympics a Doubledecker bus was brought out and a soccer ball was taken to the center stage where David Beckham kicked off too London while Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) and Leona Lewis were performing A Whole Lotta Love.

  1. I just did a post on lightning bolts as well - I'm ignorant about films; your Tropic Thunder idea gave me pause to add it as an addendum to my previous post. Thanks!

Those London Olympics are going to fascinating.

(Hope you check out my blogs!)

  2. My sisters 24pack of Pepsi is square shaped and called "The Cube" and it's covered in water drops - reminds me of the olympic water cube thingy.

It sucks we have to always play catch up on the symbolism be given out to the masses. I wonder what the next symbol will be?

  3. If a color can be a symbol, I think the next BIG symbol will be 'black' or something that we associate with 'black' (but isn't black).

    Yes, Obama, but more.
